This is a small handmade ceramic cup or small bowl with a beautiful shape. It is inspired by my favourite café.

For some time now I have only been drinking my coffee from handmade cups without handles like this one and I love them! They feel so organic and soft in the hand. I also like the fact that they hold relatively little liquid - I get hot coffee out of the machine more often and don't have to sip cold coffee, which is the worst ;).

I made the cup from beige clay on the potter's wheel, painted it with underglazes, fired it in the kiln, glazed it with glossy clear glaze (food-safe, cadmium- and lead-free) and fired it at stoneware temperature.

The piece is elegantly imperfect, which makes it even more characteristic and beautiful.
